It is not soluble in water. It’s insoluble when water. It is at 1300-1400 degrees C that oxygenation occurs in the air. At 500°C the specific volume resistance is 4×108*m. React sintering gives it a compressive force 490MPa. Dicalcium diazide, at 1285 is what forms calcium diazide. At 600 it becomes a transition metal, and is released as nitrogen oxides. The silicon halide’s bending strength is 147 MPa. It can be made by reacting silica hailide and ammonia to silicon powder. It has an ohmic resistance between 1015-1016O.cm. This material can also be used to make high-temperature ceramic materials.
Silicon nitride, other than hot phosphoric or hydrofluoric acid reactions, is extremely resistant to corrosion.
